Rizla Suzuki Upgrades Suzuki GSV-R Engine

Rizla Suzuki believes its latest spec factory Suzuki GSV-R motor is a small but significant step to support Loris Capirossi and Chris Vermeulen challenge closer to the front in MotoGP.

Capirossi raced the upgraded V4 engine to a fifth place in Catalunya MotoGP last weekend and conducted a further assessment during a one-day test session at the Montmelo circuit on Monday.


And factory team boss Paul Denning told MCN the revised Suzuki GSV-R motor, which was tested in tandem with a 2010 prototype chassis and new Ohlins front forks, was a step in the right direction.

Rizla Suzuki MotoGP Riders on Second Row at Motegi

Chris Vermeulen and Loris Capirossi of Rizla Suzuki MotoGP team will start from the fourth and sixth grid respectively at tomorrow's MotoGP race at Motegi circuit. The reigning World Champion Valentino Rossi will have the top grid in the first row after qualifying sessions cancellation by the MotoGP officials due to bad weather condition.
